Berikut ini hasil praktek belajar blog, posting video yang saya lakukan. Supaya tidak lupa, dan kalaupun lupa mudah untuk melacaknya kembali, saya pun mempostingnya di sini. Posting ini saya juduli, Embedding Video Youtube di WordPress. Sesuai dengan judulnya, video berasal dari YouTube dan saya posting di blog WordPress, baik itu yang self-hosted (wp.org) maupun yang hosted di wp (wp.com).
Beginilah langkah-langkah yang saya lakukan:
* Kunjungi halaman video di YouTube. Salin URL dari address bar.
* Di dalam Dasboard, masuk ke Post –>> Add New. Klik pada button Add Video pada Uploader / Insert Toolbar.
* Pilih tab From URL. Paste-kan URL video dari YouTUbe pada field URL. Kemudian klik Insert into Post.
Shortcode video YouTube selanjutnya akan masuk ke dalam postingan. Postingan video akan tampak seperti di bawah ini.
Catatan: Video diambil dari Koleksi Video Abula yang diupload pada 12 Januari 2010.
